NYC/NYS Concealed Carry License Renewal Course Terms

The New York City / New York State Concealed Carry License course is an approved 2 hour classroom/range qualification course which allows you to renew a NYS Concealed Carry license. This course is necessary to keep your NYS Concealed Carry License. You need your NYS Pistol License to participate in this course.

•You must be a LEGAL United States Citizen or Permanent Resident in order to attend this course.

•Past convictions may or may not prohibit you from renewing your pistol permit.

This course topics consist of:

• General Firearm Safety
• Drawing From Concealment
• Loading/Stoppage Remediation
• Carry Modes/Pistol Concealment
• Range Safety Rules
• State/Federal Gun Laws
• Encountering Law Enforcement
• Restricted Firearm Carry Locations as per NYS PL § 265.01-d
• Use of Deadly Physical Force
• Each Student Must Demonstrate Proficiency By Completing a Firearm Live-Fire Assessment

$125 Members / $150 Non- Members (includes $25 discount off future Membership fee)

By signing this application, I acknowledge that I have read and understand the rules, regulations, and policies of the Glen Cove PBA Pistol and Rifle Association. I understand that the primary purpose of my attendance at this event is to allow for convenient access to the facility primarily for firearms instruction and training. I also give the Glen Cove PBA Pistol and Rifle Association permission to collect information regarding the validity of my United States citizenship, criminal record, and pistol permit information. I have also answered all questions truthfully and to the best of my knowledge.

I understand that any false statements made herein will result in immediate termination of my membership and I may be reported to the appropriate governmental authorities for investigation and/or possible prosecution for wrongdoing under applicable law.
